Veronica Falconieri, the creative director behind Falconieri Visuals, received her certification in medical illustration (CMI) from the Board of Certification of Medical Illustrators (BCMI) this year.
Certified Medical Illustrators have met credentialing requirements for business, ethics, and science knowledge as well as drawing skills. The certification term lasts for 5 years, during which CMIs complete Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in order to meet board requirements for the next term’s renewal.
The certification process includes an exam and submission of a professional portfolio for review by the BCMI.
